The Idea

PiPE’s goal is to spark an art culture movement in communities that are lacking one in Los Angeles County by hosting our very own FREE music festival. It will offer artists an opportunity to share with their community a diverse art culture by performing, interacting, promoting, and educating. PiPE

The Specifics

The very first PiPE festival will be held in the San Fernando Valley, at a local park (see list). The event will last from 11am-8pm and there will be around 2-3 stages built. There are four elements that make up the PiPE festival;
Performance, Interaction, Promotion, and Education.

The $2,500 will go towards promoting the festival, the sound equipment for the stages, and event insurance. We know there are other finances that will be necessary to operate the festival, but we already plans to tackle those hurdles. With the help of a kickstarter project and local sponsors, we will be able to have enough money and resources to make this festival meet our standards. This grant would be a huge jumpstart to making this happen.
