The Idea

Parnassus Project wants to connect chamber music with community by regularly presenting concerts at local cafes. Our goal is to bring together local musicians to perform in informal, relaxed venues -- it's a fun, effective way to introduce the energy of live chamber music to new audiences!

The Specifics

The money would go towards paying musicians so that we can set up regular concerts (ideally monthly) for the rest of the year. We began doing these concerts at the end of 2011 to great success! We will work with various local businesses to host these concerts to increase visibility and community support.
